What you need:
– 2 servings of Angel hair pasta
– 2 tbsp of light olive oil
– 1/8 cup of minced garlic
– 1 can of stewed tomatoes
– fresh basils (around 20 leaves), chopped
– salt and pepper
Cook the angel hair al dente. Set aside. In a pan, saute garlic in light olive oil. Add 1 can of stewed tomatoes and throw in the basil. Turn off the flame. Transfer the cooked pasta into the pan and mix thoroughly. Add salt and pepper to taste.
I always find it hard to portion uncooked pasta according to servings. I’m so glad when I found just the tool to help me with that – Joseph Joseph measuring tool. It’s really convenient!
For the stewed tomatoes, I bought Hunts stewed tomatoes. Their tomatoes are sweet and chunky. Great for the pasta!
