Chicken Shawarma with Yogurt Sauce

What you need:
– 1/2 chicken breast fillet, cut into strips
– 1/2 medium red bell pepper, cut into strips
– 1 white onion, cut into strips
– McCormick Montreal Chicken Grill Mates
– Paprika
– Cayenne pepper powder
– salt and pepper
– Tortilla wrapper

I bought the Tortilla Wraps from Robinson’s Supermarket. There were two flavors, spinach and onion and chive. I chose the onion and chive flavor and it was good.:)

On the other hand, I bought this McCormick Grill Mates from Landmark Supermarket. They are great for grilling chicken and seasoning. It adds lots of flavor to the chicken and other meats.

For the yogurt sauce:
– 1 Nestle Plain Yogurt
– 1/2 tsp white sugar
– 1 tbsp Minced garlic
– 1/3 can stewed tomatoes
– salt

Marinate the chicken strips with salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper powder, and Grill Mates. Set aside.

In a skillet, heat up some light olive oil and cook the chicken strips together with the bell red pepper and onions. You can leave some onions to mix with sauce if you like.

To prepare the sauce, sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Mix the yogurt, garlic, sugar, stewed tomatoes, and onions all together. Add salt to taste.

Heat the tortilla wraps in the skillet. Wrap the cooked chicken strips and yogurt sauce together and serve!
