Chicken Broccoli with Egg White Sauce


What you need:
– 1/2 boneless chicken breast, thinly sliced
– 1 tsp corn starch
– salt and pepper
– 1 tsp minced garlic
– 1/2 small onion, sliced
– 1 cup broccoli florets
– 2 tsp chopped chives
– 1/2 tsp sugar
– 4 egg whites
– 1 tsp chicken powder mixed with 1/2 cup water or 1/2 cup chicken stock

Sprinkle the chicken slices with salt and pepper. Add the cornstarch and mix together. Set aside.

Boil the broccoli florets in water for around 2 minutes and then drain. Set aside.

Sauté minced garlic in light olive oil then add the chicken slices. Cook until meat turns white then add the onion slices. Add the broccoli florets and stir fry for another minute.

Arrange the broccoli florets on the sides of the plate while the chicken and onions in the middle.

Boil the chicken stock and slowly add the egg whites while stirring. Add the sugar and chopped chives. Leave some chives for garnishing.

Pour the egg white sauce around the chicken broccoli then garnish with some chopped chives on top.
