Chicken Cordon Bleu


What you need:
– 1 pc boneless chicken breast
– 1 pc cooked ham or sweet ham, any brand
– 3 slices of Magnolia Quikmelt cheese, add more if necessary
– bread crumbs
– 1 egg
– all purpose flour
– salt and pepper
– parsley flakes

Optional: McCormick Chicken Gravy

Slice off some of the thick parts of the chicken breast fillet to achieve equal thickness as much as possible. Slice into two parts to have a top layer and a bottom layer. Season all sides with salt and pepper.

Cut the ham in the middle and place them on top of one of the chicken breast fillets. Position them so that the ham covers all or at least most of the chicken. Same goes with the cheese slices. Place the other chicken breast fillet on top.

Beat the egg. Pour all purpose flour and bread crumbs in two separate shallow dishes. Add parsley flakes and some salt to the bread crumbs. Mix properly.

Coat the chicken fillet with all purpose flour and dip it in the beaten egg. And finally, coat with bread crumbs.

Set the air fryer to 185 degrees Celsius and cook the chicken for 18 minutes.
